We raise money for various causes: Joshua's House Women's Shelter, Toys 4 Tots, the Eradication of Polio and many other worthy causes. We are looking for dynamic leaders in the public and private sector who live in Wesley Chapel and want to GIVE back to the community that has been so good to them !

Groundbreaking Celebrates Construction of New Pasco County Utilities Building

It was a historic groundbreaking for the Pasco County Utilities Administration and Operations Facility on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 19420 Central Boulevard, Land O’Lakes. The building will be the central administration location for the Pasco Utilities System and will be located on the southeast corner of U.S. 41 and Central Boulevard. A number of dignitaries participated in the groundbreaking including representatives from the Pasco County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), Constitutional Officers, architecture firm Fleischman Garcia, contractor Construction Technology Group, Inc., employees from Pasco County Utilities and other County Departments.

Habitat for Humanity of East and Central Pasco County Women's Build Week

It was Habitat for Humanity’s 2014 National Women’s Build Week was a great success locally and nationally more than 13,000 volunteers across the U.S. helped build simple, decent and affordable housing. Habitat for Humanity of East and Central Pasco County held a woman’s build day helping build and paint houses. It was a great day for a great organization and lots of fun for the scores of participants. Habitat for Humanity East & Central Pasco County is a non-profit Christian housing ministry working in partnership with low-income families to improve the conditions in which they live in order to o eliminate poverty housing in the Dade City, San Antonio, Zephyrhills, Land O Lakes, Lacoochee, and Wesley Chapel areas.

The Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce members came out to the Tampa Bay Golf and Country Club for a fantastic breakfast buffet and network with fellow Chamber members and had a chance to listen to an exciting guest speaker, Bob Brumm. Bob Brumm is a Tampa Electric Senior Systems Programmer, professional speaker, author and Encouragement Engineer, The Positive Prospective serving corporate, collegiate, and sales organizations by bridging the gap between IT and other departments. With a diverse background in accounting, business and 17 years in the IT/Telecommunications industry Bob brings understanding and effectiveness to organizations so corporate objectives are met and teams work enthusiastically together as a cohesive team to achieve corporate goals.

Pasco-Hernando State College Foundation received gift from HCA hospitals, Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point and Medical Center of Trinity

The Pasco-Hernando State College Foundation received a $7,000 gift from HCA hospitals — Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point and Medical Center of Trinity — as well as a gift of $11,256 from Florida Blue and the Florida College System Foundation. The funds will provide scholarships to help health care PHSC students cover tuition. Marvel Character Breakfast at Cobb Grove 16 by Benea Masella

All the Marvel action figures came out to meet the kids for the Cobb Theatres Grove 16 Marvel character breakfast. The delicious breakfast, provided by the Cobb Theatres very own CineBistro came complete with bacon, eggs, pancakes, fruit and opportunity to get your picture taken with a Superhero! Children from all over Pasco County and northern Hillsboro came out for the event and had a great time, and will be looking forward to the next character breakfast at the Theatre. The CineBistro is a restaurant located in the balcony of several of the theatres where patrons can enjoy great food and beverage before their movie begins.

The Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce Honors Students at 15th Annual Pride Awards

For the Fifteenth year The Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber recognized 140 outstanding students and athletes for their school pride, community involvement, and athletic excellence from each Wesley Chapel school. “The entire Wesley Chapel Community is proud of all our students and all of those recognized today. ” said Jeff Novotny, Chamber Board President in his closing remarks. Oasis – A Pregnancy Center held their Fifth Annual Golf Tournament at Sherman Hills Golf & Country Club located at 31200 Eagle Falls Dr., Brooksville, FL. Wesley Chapel Chamber Ribbon Cutting for Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

The Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber held a Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening for Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa at their Wesley Chapel location at 1664 Bruce B. Downs Boulevard. Friends and family were able to stop in and visit their new location for food, refreshments and a tour of the facility. Debbie Gulledge, Owner of the Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa welcomed everyone to the grand opening of her second location. Her first location in Tampa opened in 2012 and employs more than 30 staff and has 1,140 members.

The Wesley Chapel Lions Club conducted a Diabetes Testing event at Wesley Chapel NISSAN. Over the course of one weekend, volunteers from the Wesley Chapel Lions Club tested 44 people and only had to give 2 referrals to see doctors. The Columbia Family includes 8 locations in Florida.

The Sunrise Shelter was presented with a check for $1,400 raised with spare change donations since December.
