Thank you to all the businesses and people who came out to the 8th Annual Spooky Tails fundraiser on Saturday at Parwick Kennels in Land O' Lakes. The generous support of Parwick Kennels’ owner Gail Cooper helps to defer the cost of taking care of retired Pasco Sheriff's Office K-9 dogs and Ben Puma Owner/ Chef of Benedetto's Ristorante Italiano located at 21529 Village Lakes Shopping Central Drive in Land O Lakes who donated a $1,000 for the cause. The highlights of the day was the K-9 demonstration, and the costume contest for animals. This year's winner was a goat!

Last month Proly, Laporte, & Mulligan P.A., Attorneys at Law held an event at the Fraternal Order of Police on Bell Lake Road to honor the families of local Law Enforcement. Along with providing 370 law enforcement families a day of free entertainment, the monetary donations will be used for a memorial fund. Pasco County Republicans have chosen Mike Moore to face Democrat Erika Remsberg in the November 4 General Election for Pasco County Commissioner, District 2. Moore received 55% of the votes with Ken Littlefield receiving 28% and Bob Robertson earning 17%. Their vote totals were as follows, Moore 12,080 votes, Littlefield 6,015 and Robertson 3,721.

Ribbon Cutting at New Pasco County Tax Collector Office in Wesley Chapel

The Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce hosted the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for the newest Pasco County Tax Collector’s office off Wesley Chapel Boulevard. Pasco County Tax Collector Mike Fasano, welcomed the large crowd of local dignitaries and spoke of all the services available to the citizens of both Pasco County as well as neighboring Hillsborough County then led a tour the state of the art facility.
