8th Annual Spooky Tails fundraiser at Parwick Kennels in Land O' Lakes by Arlene Hein

Thank you to all the businesses and people who came out to the 8th Annual Spooky Tails fundraiser on Saturday at Parwick Kennels in Land O' Lakes. The generous support of Parwick Kennels’ owner Gail Cooper helps to defer the cost of taking care of retired Pasco Sheriff's Office K-9 dogs and Ben Puma Owner/ Chef of Benedetto's Ristorante Italiano located at 21529 Village Lakes Shopping Central Drive in Land O Lakes who donated a $1,000 for the cause. The highlights of the day was the K-9 demonstration, and the costume contest for animals. This year's winner was a goat!

Each year Parwick Kennels hosts the Spooky Tails Costume Contest for pets to help raise funds for Pasco County Sheriff's K-9 Unit Retirement funds. This event is made possible by the generous support of our neighborhood businesses and of people like you. Our Spooky Tails fundraiser has assisted in the purchase of a Bite suit for the training of the K-9 dogs and added to the existing K-9 dog retirement fund for complete medical services from Companion Animal Hospital. This year, we hope to continue to add to the retirement fund and assist the K-9 unit in whatever training supplies or other working equipment they may need and help us raise money for the K-9 dogs of Pasco County. The Pasco County Sheriff K-9 Officers shared a demonstration of the K-9 unit abilities. Fun Family Events included Food, Music, Games and more....
