The Chasco Boat Parade was on April 13 on the Pithlachascotee River in New Port Richey. Its said to be the oldest boat parade in the state of Florida. The parade started in Millers Bayou along the Pithlachascotee River, and finishes at Sims Park. This year’s theme was Celebrate Your Passion. It was a great turnout for Sign-A-Rama's new location and fund raiser for Leukemia Lymphoma Society (LLS). The Multi-Chamber Event included Wesley Chapel Chamber, New Tampa Chamber, Central Pasco Chamber, Dade City Chamber and Pasco Hernando Hispanic Chamber. Also included in the festivities were the Wesley Chapel Lions Club, Paula O'Neil and the two candidates for LLS Woman of the Year; Debra Kaplan and Stacy Lenners. Dash of Salt N Pepper, Texas Roadhouse & Time for Wine provided the food and libations.
