School Resource Officer of the Year: A huge congrats for Cpl. Elissa Elders on earning the honor of 2021 School Resource Officer of the Year! Cpl. Elders was presented with her award during the opening ceremony of the Florida Association of School Resource Officers (FASRO) annual convention last month. The recognition came via a video message from Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody and an in-person award presentation. Cpl. Elders thanked her family, including her SRO and Pine View Middle School families. We’re incredibly proud of Cpl. Elders and all her work with her students in Land O’Lakes, Pasco County. Congrats on this tremendous honor, Cpl. Elders!
