Pasco County Fire and Rescue Push-in Ceremony for new Fire Engine at Station 13 in Wesley Chapel with Commissioner Mike Moore

Pasco County Fire and Rescue (PCFR) wishes to thank with Commissioner Mike Moore and everyone who came out to their push-in ceremony for the new Engine 13 last month. E-13 will proudly serve the residents of Wesley Chapel and Central Pasco County.

PCFR also performed a bell transfer ceremony with Engine 13. This time-honored fire service tradition of passing the engine's bell from one truck to another gets its roots from the days of the horse-drawn engines. Back then, bells were used as the engine's siren and were passed from engine to engine as a show of respect. This is the second engine this bell has been placed on and will remain with Engine 13.

The engine is equipped with the latest technology to deliver the highest level of service to our residents, and we are grateful for the community support! Fire Engine 13 is now in service to include latest technological upgrades to help Fire Rescue team serve the community.
