Pasco County’s newest state-of-the-art Fire Station, Station 38 Officially Opens in Wesley Chapel

A Ribbon Cutting ceremony for Pasco County’s newest fire station, Station 38 was held on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Pasco County Fire Rescue, Pasco County Commissioners and community leaders officially opened the new 9,430-square-foot fire station at the corner of Paramount Drive and Overpass Road in Wesley Chapel.

The state-of-the-art fire station is the second largest in Pasco County and is capable of housing six fire apparatus, nine firefighters, a battalion chief and a Pasco Sheriff's Office workstation offering deputies a place to work. Station 38 is the first new service delivery area in Pasco County in more than a decade.

The station includes a number of upgrades including custom gear lockers in a dedicated climate-controlled room, individual bunk rooms to house firefighters, an advanced air system designed to scrub the air inside the station to remove carcinogens, Plymovent exhaust capture system and a pervis advanced station alerting.
