Pasco Sheriff's Office Hosts Light Up the Night Tampa Bay to End Human Trafficking, in Trinity

Monday, Feb 11, 2019 | On Target Page: Trinity & West Pasco, Law and Order
The Pasco Sheriff's Office hosted the Light Up the Night Tampa Bay to end human trafficking on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Trinity College of Florida, located at 2430 Welbilt Blvd., Trinity.

The Light Up the Night Tampa Bay included a concert with Christian music artist Jonny Diaz and a candlelight vigil. All donations went to benefit organizations that help human trafficking survivors.

The mission of the Pasco Sheriff's Office Light Up the Night Tampa Bay event is to bring awareness and education to all the surrounding areas of Tampa Bay about the perils of men, women, and children enslaved through the heinous acts of human trafficking.

It is our desire to completely eradicate this modern-day form of slavery, where victims are exploited for commercial sex, forced labor, or involuntary servitude to line the pockets of traffickers and this BILLION-dollar industry!

With community support and sponsorship, we will continue to provide resources to organizations which house, clothe, and help victims escape, as well as, provide fundamental daily living skills. To light up the night, so each victim can find their way home - until they have ALL been freed.
