The 6th Annual John Anderson Benefit Concert was held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the Dan Cannon Auditorium to a sold-out crowd with proceeds benefiting several local charities, including the Dade City Kiwanis Foundation and Sunrise of Pasco. Those in attendance enjoyed a prime rib dinner served by The Pasco Sheriff’s Mounted Posse, live auction and a lively social hour. John Anderson is a member of the Nashville Songwriters hall of fame, and a Florida native. Several times were auctioned off prior to the concert, including Ron Oakley’s 11-foot alligator skin.
