Tuesday February 24, 2009 at 6:30 PM, WWE Superstars of FCW did an autograph session at Beef O Brady's on SR54 in Land O Lakes directly across from the entrance to LOLHS.

The Land O Lakes High School Athletic Booster Club in conjunction with Land O Lakes High School will be presenting the first of a new festival in Land O Lakes, FL. The LOLSwampfest will debut February 27, 28, March 1, 2009 on the campus of Land O Lakes High School, 20325 Gator Lane, Land O Lakes, FL 34638. This festival will be a fundraiser to help offset the severe budget shortfalls the school is experiencing.

The LOLSwampfest will be anchored by a Midway from Wade Shows[www.wadeshows.com] the same company that does the Florida State Fair and the Pasco County Fair.

The LOLSwampfest opens from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Friday night, February 27, 2009. Friday will feature a Kids Night sponsored by Beef O Brady’s of Land O Lakes and Wilderness. Magician, balloon art and prizes will be given out. There will also be a baseball game and softball game taking place on the fields featuring Wesley Chapel High School and Springstead High School.

Saturday, February 28, 2009, the LOLSwampfest will open from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The day will feature many local dance troups, magicians, balloon art, and bands in the event tent located next to the Midway on the practice fields. At 3:00 PM there will be a track in the Stadium open to all ages for a 3200K, 1600K and an 800K. Located on the out door basketball courts, there will be a 3 on 3 basketball tournament open to all ages. At 7:30 PM, WWE Superstars of Florida Championship Wrestling will be performing under the lights in the Gator Stadium. Beef O Brady’s of Land O Lakes and Wilderness sponsors this wrestling event. Cost will be $5.00, with tickets available at Beef’s or at the gate. Seating is limited. It is great family entertainment.

Sunday, March 1, 2009, the LOLSwampfest will open from 11:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The day will feature a car show by the Tampa Bay Antique Automobile Association. Logan Payne from the Seattle Seahawks and Drew Weatherford from FSU will be putting on a football camp in the Stadium.

LOLSwampfest has many vendors signed to have both food, commercial and art booths at the event.
