The 2017 Central Pasco Veterinary Care Annual Pet Oxygen Mask Fundraiser was a Great Success!
Annually, Dr. Jo Ann Daniels and the staff of Central Pasco Veterinary Care organize this fundraiser to raise awareness and donations to purchase Pet Oxygen Mask Sets to supply local first responders and fire rescue agencies. This specialized equipment is used to save pets lives that have been exposed to smoke in house fires, or have been injured in a motor vehicle accident.
This year an additional five sets of pet oxygen masks were donated to Pasco County Fire Rescue at the Central Pasco Veterinary Care Annual Awards and Holiday Banquet. Fire Chief Scott Cassin attended the banquet and accepted the mask kits. He shared stories of how the pet oxygen masks have been used to save lives.
We are very grateful for the support to achieve goals of having a set of pet oxygen masks on each fire engine and rescue unit.
