Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel offered a sneak preview on Sunday, September 16 of the brand-new $150 million facility that will bring high-quality health care close to residents of Pasco, Northern Hillsborough and Southern Hernando Counties. After years of planning, the final details are coming together at this new full-service hospital, scheduled to open in October.

Adams leads a team of 400 medical professionals who have been hand-selected to deliver the compassionate care and high level of expertise Florida Hospital has become known for during the past 100 years.

“We’ve also designed all of our processes using best practices in health care from across the country,” said Adams. “From faster ER bed-side check-ins and 24-hour visitor access, to all private patient rooms with views of nature and even our healing gardens — Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel provides a more comfortable patient experience.”

For the first time, the community is also learning about the many technological firsts that will be available only at Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel. Enhanced digital imaging and hybrid operating suites help with quicker results, better accuracy and less patient stress.

Also, the hospital will be home to the first Philips Ambient Experience technology in the region. Featuring soothing sounds, lighting and animations, this system has been proven to reduce patient stress, which promotes healing.

Technology upgrades can also be found in patient rooms where accountability tracking is now integrated with a patient education network. All rooms feature the GetWellNetwork®, allowing patients to research and watch videos regarding their condition, treatment and recovery.

Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel is an 83-bed facility with a structural design that allows for future expansion as the community grows. The community is invited to tour the new hospital on Sunday, September 16 from 1 to 4 p.m. Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel staff will offer tours of the hospital, including the state-of-the-art emergency department.
