Representative Corcoran spoke to a group of veterans at Baldomero Lopez Veterans Nursing Home on Wednesday, May 30. “Back in 1866, a little town named Waterloo in upstate New York, decided to celebrate the brave soldiers who had fought in the Civil War.  I am honored to be given the opportunity to continue that tradition of honoring those who have fought to defend our country.” said Representative Corcoran.  “I truly believe that we, as a society, cannot do enough to honor or celebrate our brave men and women both past and present.”

The Memorial Day ceremony was held at Baldomero Lopez Veterans Nursing Home, located at 6919 Parkway Boulevard in Land O’ Lakes.  The event was free and open to the public.
