Metropolitan Ministries 5th Annual Pasco Leadership Luncheon at AdventHealth Center Ice, in Wesley Chapel

The Metropolitan Ministries’ 5th Annual Pasco Leadership Luncheon was held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at AdventHealth Center Ice, located at 3173 Cypress Ridge Blvd., Wesley Chapel, FL 33544.

This year, Commissioner Kathryn Starkey was honored as ‘Pasco Leader of the Year.’ And we heard the heartwarming story of Barbara & Valentina – mother and daughter who took part in the residency program, overcoming homelessness to secure a brighter future for them both.

Everyone celebrated another season of hope, love, and joy at the 5th Annual Pasco Leadership Luncheon. During the time together, we shared how life change is possible in the lives of homeless and at-risk kids and teens through the various programs and initiatives Metropolitan Ministries spearheads, in partnership with our state and local leaders, businesses, and community members.

Over the past year in Pasco County, Metropolitan Ministries’ served 169 children, provided 64 families with residential housing programs and 91% of families successfully exited our residential programs and are housed.

It is through the kindness and generosity of their faithful donors and community partners changes can be made in the lives children and families in Pasco County, like Valentina and her mom, Barbara, former residents who shared their story of hope with us today.
