Pasco-Hernando State College hosted the PHSC Bobcat Robotics Rumble Rama VRC Over Under Fall Tournament on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Pasco-Hernando State College, 10230 Ridge Road, New Port Richey, Florida 34654.
Attendees were able to experience the future of robotics as middle and high school robotic teams battled it out with their bots in the exhilarating 2023 Over-Under competition. Everyone was amazed by innovative designs and fierce rivalry, all in one captivating event.
The VEX Robotics Competition (VRC) is a robotics competition for registered middle and high school teams. In the competition, teams design, build, and program robots to compete at tournaments.
Here are some things to know about the VEX Robotics Competition:
- The competition is presented by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation.
- Teams are tasked with designing and building a robot to play against other teams in a game-based engineering challenge.
- Teams are ranked against all other teams in their competition and age group.
- The Skills Challenge is not divided into divisions.
- Skills are divided into two sections: Driver Skills and Autonomous Skills.
- Teams are given one minute to score as many points as they can based on the type of game play.
