Marjorie’s Hope 4th annual celebrity waiters luncheon was held at Seven Springs Golf and Country Club in New Port Richey. This was their second year hosting a sold out event. All proceeds benefit Marjorie’s Hope eight programs:

Backpacks-this years projection is 5000 donations. YTD donations: 25k! Kids closet- over 300 students in need have been provided with free clothing, shoes and personal hygiene items. year. Pasco county school employees boutique- a “pop-up” and free shopping event for district staff. Teachers store- a shop created to offset personal out of pocket costs for classroom supplies. Annual $2k scholarship to a graduating senior based upon their community volunteer work. Christmas for Kids - 216 children referred from the schools were matched with donors. Laptops- Free for foster students going off to college. Cinderella/Prince Charming Project - this prom season 240 students were provided with free formal wear, accessories, hair cuts provided by Bene Career Academy and area barber shops, and free tannings sessions.

This years event was well attended by numerous dignitaries, including: Florida Agriculture Commissioner, judges, lawyers (private and public servant), County Commissioners, City Council Members and all the who’s who of Pasco business leaders.

Marjorie’s Hope is appreciative for the kindness and generosity from all those who participated as a celebrity and from those who attended and supported. All in all, $31,300. Was raised for this event. The RJ Kielty family donated $1,000 and are HUGE supporters of the organization.
