The Rotary Club of Wesley Chapel and the Rotary Club of Dade City had their 6th Annual Hats and Horses Kentucky Derby Fundraiser to benefit, “Build that Home” for victims of sex-trafficking. Everyone gathered their fancy hats, sundresses, and dapper suits and enjoyed the Kentucky Derby Race, Casino Games, Southern Cuisine, an Open Bar, Live and Silent Auctions, a live band and much more, hosted at the Waller Ranch, located at 17307 Powerline Road in Dade City, Florida. Last year, the organization raised $40,000, according to Jeannie Germaine, a committee member for the Build that Home project. Horses, jockey and a bed of roses were available for photos for the attendees and are therapy horses owned by Ed and Julianne Collins of Hoof Prints to Heal.
