Wheelchairs 4 Kids has a Wheely Fun Day at Lake Blue with Ann's Angels Adaptive Waterski Foundation

Tuesday, Jun 28, 2022 | On Target Page: Trinity & West Pasco, Wheelchairs 4 Kids

Wheelchairs 4 Kids held its Waterski Experience 2022 on Saturday, June 18, 2022, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at Ann's Angels Adaptive Waterski Foundation, in Winter Haven.

What an amazing day on the water with Wheelchair for Kids, JCI Senate Cornerstone Charter Academy and Ann’s Angels AWF. It was a day filled with amazing blessings as they got the chance to take some wonderful kids out waterskiing. Their smiles and laughter lit up the sky. Thank you to all the terrific volunteers who helped on off and in the water. It couldn’t have been done without you. They make the program possible and one of the best around in the country.

About Ann's Angels Adaptive Waterski Foundation:

Waterskiing programs for people with disabilities. To promote public awareness and recreational sports for children & adults in the adaptive community.

As avid members of UCanSki2 we are forever apart of Ann’s legacy and there for unwilling to forget the tire-less work that she did to educate and advocate for the Adaptive community. She never stopped trying to change and show the world what people living with disabilities can and could do to be productive members of a community. There for We, the volunteers or her Angels as she called us, have decided to move forward in her wake to continue her work and hopefully make her proud for many years to come. "Ann’s Angels Adaptive Waterski Foundation” will continue to provide the programs that she so strongly believed in and work for so many years. We hope that you will join us on this journey to keep the Legacy of Ann O’Brien Satterfield and the UCanSki2 team alive to bring this wonderful program to those who need it most. Please Look for more to come from Ann’s Angels Adaptive Waterski Foundation in the future.

About Wheelchairs 4 Kids:

A national non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of children with physical disabilities by providing wheelchairs, ramps, and other assistive devices. The need for this service is immense and first came to our attention as we worked in the non-profit industry. We often saw children in chairs that they had outgrown or were being held together by home repairs that often-included duct tape!
