Stonegrey Final Show (for a while) at O’Brien’s Irish Pub

Stonegrey held its final show (for a while) on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 9:00 p.m. at the O’Brien’s Irish Pub, located at 15435 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33618. Every fan came out to celebrate and show their support and made it one last banger!

“While this post does not come easy, we will do everything we can to spin it into something positive and creative. We’ve spent a lot of time considering each of our personal lives and what truly makes us happy as individuals. What makes us happy is playing and writing music from our hearts, which is something that is easy to lose sight of. With that said, we’ve all come to a mutual agreement to “take a step back” from playing live shows for the foreseeable future.

This gives us each some time to reflect and refresh ourselves as musicians and to figure out where we’re each being called to in life.

In an attempt to not make anything too sappy, we give it all up to our Stonegrey friends and family. Without the desire for music, we would just be a group of guys making noise simultaneously. From the bottom of our hearts, we do what we do for the reaction we receive from our fans and that’s what has always driven us.

For now, we each plan to continue working on perfecting our craft as musicians and we promise to check up on each other as friends. After all, that is what’s most important to us.

For the record, this is not Stonegrey breaking up, it’s simply a time for us to regroup and focus our sights on what’s next. We plan to continue to write music together and all that encompasses that. In fact, we’ve got 3 songs on the burner waiting to be heard by you all, and those will come in due time. 12 years of time and energy can’t be replaced with anything tangible so we’re not giving anything up, we’re simply adjusting to life together. Much love to you all, and we’ll see you around the block.” - Stonegrey said.

About Stonegrey:

Rock music the way you like it and remember it. Influences from the 70's, 80's, 90's and 2000's. You can't define us other than to say we're different from most independent bands out there today. Not too Alternative and not too Classic Rock. Not Screamo, not Pop. We just play excellent music.
