Greater Pasco Chamber of Commerce Professional Women in Business held its monthly meeting on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Concourse Event Center, 11919 Alric Pottberg Rd, Shady Hills, FL 34610.

The Guest Speaker this month was April Lufriu - Mrs. America 2011 & Mrs. World 2012. April Lufriu is an advocate for the blind and visually impaired and she is on a constant quest to find a cure and treatments for this life altering disease. As a mom, she has become a “Mom on a Mission” advocating for her children and family.

April shared her story dealing with adversity and how she continues to grow as a person and leader. Instead of allowing life changing tribulations to control her, she uses this hardship as a guided tour to transform her inner strength to fight back.
