Pasco added 9 more cases of Covid-19 yesterday Easter Sunday April 12. We now have a total of 166 cases, 30 people have been hospitalized at one point or another for the virus and 3 people have died with the virus. We are tracking the increase in new cases in order to see if we are steming the tide and it seems we have hit a plateau with about 10 or so new cases a day in Pasco County. We do not know if this is because increase testing is resulting in new cases or that our safe distancing policies are not working, only time will tell. By the end of next week we should have a much better picture of how we are all doing so keep doing what you are doing, it is paying off biggly and pray for our front line healthcare workers and everyone else effected by this calamity. Statewide, the increase in new cases yesterday, 853 has dropped by 44% from it's high on April 2nd of 1,575. A very good sign but weekend numbers are always suspect but we accept any good news we can get.
