Today was the perfect day to break some ground on Pasco Countyâ€™s newest K-8 school! Starkey Ranch K-8 in Odessa is slated to open in August 2021. This school is the result of an outstanding partnership between the County and the School Board. Plans call for a gymnasium, athletic fields, running track, and sports courts, all of which will be available to Pasco County residents during non-school hours through a shared-use agreement with the school district.

Next door to the school will be a brand new public library and theater building for Pasco County residents to enjoy. The new library will feature 3 maker spaces, an adult room, childrenâ€™s rooms and study rooms.
