Monarch City USA Sign Unveiling Designating Dade City as a Monarch City USA at the Dade City Garden Club

Dade City Mayor Camille Hernandez, the City Commissioners, and members of the Dade City Garden Club invited members of the community to join them to unveil the City’s new sign designating Dade City as a Monarch City USA.
“We scheduled our Monarch City USA sign event during National Garden Club week and the 130th Birthday week of Dade City!†said the Mayor. “We are embracing both our past and our future through our Monarch Butterfly project and are encouraging our citizens to join us in this effort.†In recognition of both celebrations, the Dade City Garden Club will be giving away free milkweed plants to the first 25 attendees to the sign unveiling ceremony.
The Sign Unveiling was held on Monday, June 3, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the Dade City Garden Club, 13630 5th St, Dade City, Florida 33525.
