About Pasco County Commissioner, District 1, Ron Oakley:

As a Pasco County Native, Ron Oakley feels privileged to have had the opportunity to be a part of his community. Working in various family-owned businesses, from citrus, transportation to funeral homes, real estate, and ranching, he has had over 40 years of management experience. Raising five children, being involved in various activities, he has witnessed many changes that have taken place here.
In 2007, he was appointed to serve on the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) governing board. During his years of volunteer service to this organization, he served as Treasurer, Vice Chairman and Chairman.
