“I am sure crews will be operating ALL night, relief crews including Tampa and Sumter County have arrived as well as multiple companies from west side of Pasco. More photos tomorrow. First of all, I was very late in arrival and many of the early photos and some of the explosions shots were sent to me or pirated off of Facebook Posts This first album will contain the Firefight. The next will highlight the personnel that at this late hour are still working to extinguish this massive blaze. E24 was dispatched around 1230 for an outside fire which was quickly upgraded to a Commercial Building Fire. Captain John Falls (E24) arrived with a size up of a Mega Building well involved. He requested an additional Ladder truck and then went quickly to a Second Alarm assignment. The building was an industrial use that manufactures vehicle wheel using magnesium of which over 2000 pounds was stored there. The results of that can be seen in some of the explosion photos. E24 had R24 evacuate connecting structures as the fire was rapidly moving throughout the large complex. While officially a 2 Alarm additional units and a total of FOUR Ladder Trucks were called.” By PCFR Battalion 4 Photo Page on Facebook
