First National Bank of Pasco has committed $10,000 in grants to the Arts programs for Pasco County Schools. Fine Arts teachers submitted requests for donations and First National Bank of Pasco chose the recipients of the first quarterly grants. One school received a $1000 grant for a new drum set to start a middle school jazz program; another school just wanted $200 for smocks to protect elementary kids clothes from the paint supplies; $600 is going to a school to help fund sturdy display framework for displaying student artwork during school events; an elementary school is getting clay and clay tools to help them understand how to work in 3 dimensions; and one school is getting an iPad to help kids learn art on electronic devices.
