Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC) and the North Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce, with sponsor Avalon Park West, hosted a Kid Care Fair on October 23, 2018 at the Porter Campus at Wiregrass Ranch in Wesley Chapel, 2727 Mansfield Blvd. Attendees met vendors, healthcare providers, and kid-and-family friendly businesses in the area. “Our Kid Care Fair will provide resources and opportunities to be better informed parents, child care providers, and advocates for early childhood development,†said Kevin O’Farrell, Ph.D., provost, PHSC Porter Campus at Wiregrass Ranch. PHSC nursing students provided educational presentations on issues impacting early childhood development and gave tours of the campus’ home health care laboratory. FREE food and activities for moms, dads, and children were included.
