Florida Hospital Center Ice always has something fun going on, and every so often an abundance of events happening on the same day! This was the case for a day in August where Tampa Bay Idol was holding auditions, Voting Polls were open, and a demo for new hockey gear took place. Contestants sang their hearts out at the ABC Action News auditions to get their ticket to Orlando. Voters came in throughout the day to cast their votes for the primary. RinkSide Sports presented its first annual Demo Day for the latest and greatest sticks and skates from Bauer and CCM Hockey. Several other events were held in the evening, such as karaoke and a charity hockey game.
