Two years ago, a group of young Cadets, the Wesley Chapel Knights, tired of the status quo, began a journey to bring honor to Wesley Chapel Cadet Squadron (FL-458) on a National scale. These disciplined young individuals have dedicated MANY hours, sweat, tears, and disappointments. Last year, we lost the chance to move on to the national rounds by a few points. They could have gone home and quit. Instead, they chose to remain and took failure as a lesson and fought even harder.

This past weekend, after fighting under colder weather, tougher opponents, and facing unknown situations in Knoxville, Tennessee. We came out on top. We are now the South-East Region Champions! Fulfilling our promise to go to the National Round. Combat was fierce, most of the events had movie-like finishes and crazy suspenseful events.

I'm so proud of you all. Cassie Ramer, Andrew Alayon, Elicia Smith, Francisco Pulgarin, Emily Balling, Matthew Lewandowski you guys will continue to make a difference in the lives of those around you. Thank you to our contributors & Escorts: Steve Lampasona, Chantelle Johnson, LuAnn Lewandowski, Ricky Blanco, Cesar Ignacio Alayon, Alayon C Jenny & the many many others who continue to assists us in this journey.

Wish us luck as the Knights march to Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio for the National Title. It will be team 01's Final Battle.
