Pasco County Deputies and Fire Rescue crews responded to a Willow Drive address in Port Richey to the possible drowning of a two-year-old girl. The call came in to dispatch shortly after noon Sunday March 11, 2018. Preliminary reports from the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said that it appears the little girl was able to get out of a lanai at the location and was found floating in the lake behind the home. She was then transported to an area hospital for treatment, but she had already passed. Currently, the incident is still under investigation although it appears to be accidental.
