Gold Medal-Winning 2018 US Olympic Women’s Hockey Team Returns to Wesley Chapel to Celebrate with the folks who watched them train & cheered them on for 10 Months

The Gold Medal Winning 2018 U.S. Olympic Women’s Ice Hockey Team returned home to Wesley Chapel, Pasco County Florida Wednesday February 28, 2018 to share their celebration of its momentous gold-medal victory at the Pyeong Chang 2018 Olympic Winter Games with the folks who have watched them train and cheered them on since they were preparing for the 2017 U.S. Women's National Team Selection Camp back on April 30, 2017 at Florida Hospital Center Ice.
The team’s homecoming kicked off Feb. 26 as the U.S. women made their first stop in Los Angeles, where the team taped an appearance on Ellen (air date was Tuesday, Feb. 27) and was honored at the Los Angeles Kings home game against the Vegas Golden Knights at the STAPLES Center. The team also visited Tampa where they were honored at the Tampa Bay Lightning game, Washington, D.C. where visited the U.S. Department of State, engage in local youth and girls hockey activities and New York City for media opportunities and appearances before players returning to their homes to continue the celebration.
