Twice a year, The Christian Edge and the Lacoochee/Trilby/Trilacoochee Steering Committee (LTT) cooperate with local organizations and churches to clean up the northeast Pasco County area. This time, our major participant was the Progressive 4-H club of the Dade City area. Our guest celebrity was our new principal for Lacoochee Elementary School, Latoya Jordan.

According to local clean-up Captain, Roger Durden Kaminski, "Our job of filling a dumpster is getting harder each event. There is not as much trash left around." Co-Captain Richard K Riley added, "This is the Broken Window effect as introduced to us by Karen Marler. If we fix the visible problems, and pick up the trash, people gain a little more pride and don't add to the problems."
