Pasco County Cleanup Volunteer Event Removes Nearly 34 Tons of Trash "in an effort to keep their neighborhood beautiful,” said Commissioner Kathryn Starkey
Here’s what was collected:
? Hazmat Materials: 1,060 pounds
? Solid Waste Debris: 33.35 tons
“I’m happy to be able to support the local community with their efforts to keep their neighborhood beautiful,” said Board of County Commissioners Chair Kathryn Starkey. “Without the dedication and hard work of our Code Compliance, Solid Waste and Public Works teams, this tremendous effort wouldn’t have been possible.”
Pasco County hosts community cleanup events to give customers a convenient opportunity to get rid of trash, debris and hazardous materials that might otherwise lead to code violations or illegal dumping.
