Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber Banquet and Award Ceremony 2014
The Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce celebrated the extraordinary things local community members, businesses, and organizations have done in Wesley Chapel. This year, they were honored at the Annual Awards Banquet held on Thursday, September 18th at Saddlebrook. These five prestigious awards acknowledge the accomplishments of Small businesses: New Tampa & Wesley Chapel Neighborhood News. Parks Ford of Wesley Chapel won for Larger businesses of the Year. Volunteer of the Year is Kelly Mothershead owner of A Focus on Fitness studio. The Civic Association of the Year award went to Robyn Liska and Jannah McDonald of the American Cancer Society, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Dr. Stanley Giannet, the dynamic Provost of the new Pasco Hernando State College-Porter Campus at Wiregrass Ranch was named both this year’s Business Leader of the Year and next year’s Honorary Mayor of Wesley Chapel. Excellence in Business Award winners’ applications were review and scored by a panel of their peers based on their demonstrated commitment to the advancement of the business community. In addition to these prestigious awards, Wendy Bechtelheimer, was presented the President’s award for her contribution to the organization and Jeff Novotny, American Consulting Engineers, was named the board member of the year. This year’s event is proudly presented by Parks Ford of Wesley Chapel.
