Step Up, Step Out 2008

May 3, 2008

This exciting event will reach out to the youth in the Tampa Bay and surrounding areas.  It will feature several prominent artists and speakers who will minister powerful messages through song and speech. HolyZone is a Music Ministries geared to reaching teens and young adults, in the Tampa Bay area.

Due to the violence, drugs and the many tragedies involving our youth, we have been inspired to promote positive messages for our young people who are our future.  Many adults see today’s youth as rebellious, violent, disrespectful and even downright frightful. However, be honest and ask yourself when was the last time you stopped and tried to actually find out what might be wrong with a particular youth you know that demonstrates some of the above mentioned characteristics? If your answer was; not too many times or even never, it is okay. Many adults today give the same answer. We as a society have an opportunity to make a small change, a dent if you will in this concept. HolyZone Music Ministries is proud to announce it is hosting the Second annual “Step Up, Step Out 2008” concert scheduled for       May 3, 2008 6PM at Victorious Life Church 6224 Old Pasco Rd, Wesley Chapel, Florida.

The concert will host a variety of Hip Hop, R&B and alternative Rock musicians that spread “Positive” and “Clean” messages to the youth and young adults of today! The songs touch on true - life events and issues, but offer positive outlooks and endings to such situations. Last year HolyZone Music Ministries teamed up with Above and Beyond Ministries to host the first annual “Step up, Step out” concert which turned out to be a two day event. Hundreds of youths attended, and enjoyed the positive messages by such artists as: Corey Red, Sicily, Legacy, T.R.U.E., Craig Nice, Lil Prophet and FoCuSeD just to name a few. This year’s event promises to be even bigger and better! In order to make this event successful, we need your help! Some of the sponsors that were instrumental in the success of last year’s event where; Pepsi, Wesley Chapel Toyota, World Fighting Championship Mix Martial Arts, Hungry Howies, Camp Joy, Bridgeway Church, and Victorious Life Church. This year we are even looking for more sponsors so we may provide handouts (literature), souvenir caps and t-shirts to all those who attend the concert.

We expect to fill each and every seat with adults, young adults and youths alike! Many high school students will be graduating a few weeks after our event, what a great way to prepare them for the World ahead!

I personally would like to thank you in advance for your cooperation and hopeful participation, and I pray that you will be an integral part of our plans with hope for our young people in the community.
