Speed Starz Youth Track/Running Club hosted Fight Cancer Run presented by Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel, an event at Tampa Premium Outlets to honor cancer fighters. Families, couples, and individuals showed up October 20th to run for all different reasons and loved ones, having the common denominator of cancer. Survivors were in attendance and honored on the front stage, and even a woman whose sister, Liz, was getting out of surgery in another state during the run. Whatever the reason, there was heart, love, and compassion in the air as everyone cheered each other along, either walking or running the 5K, 1 mile, and kid’s fun run/baby crawl. Speed Starz Track/ Running Club is a competitive youth track/running club. Where we train for speed and technique and proper running skills.
