8532… McClain Bryant  Springstead beat the Pirates 34 to 7 last year so with out doubt, much improvement has been made in the off season for Pasco. 8526…Pirates Captain Matt Jackson looks over to his coach for a play that will stop the Springstead defense from crossing the goal line.

8505… Todd Jeter looks up at the scoreboard at a slim 7 to 3 lead for his Pasco Pirates. The Pirates would hold on to that lead till late in the fourth when Springstead intercepted a John Johnson pass and went on to score their first touchdown and their first win 9 to 7.

But the only score for the Pirates came on the first play from scrimmage as senior running back Dorian Tooks scored an 80-yard touchdown run. Tooks went on to run for 146 yards on 11 carries.
