(Bay
News 9) -- A Dade City high school student
is doing what she can to help the victims of the Haiti
earthquake.
Cailan Harris is a senior
at Pasco High School, and when she heard about the
earthquake, she started encouraging her fellow students
to donate whatever they could.
Now, when Harris
comes to class, she finds bags of clothing, water and
other supplies donated by fellow students.
After she picks up
the donations from school, she brings them to her home
to sort out. So far she has received several boxes of
food and water and plenty of clothing, but she said she
would like to get more before sending it to a relief
organization like the Red Cross.
