A chilly December morning greeted hospital officials from Adventist Health Systems, University Community Health, local politicians, dignitaries, guests and press at the Wesley Chapel Medical Center ground breaking ceremony, held yesterday. This is big news for this growing area. Wesley Chapel will soon have a state of the art hospital of their own. The location is Bruce B. Downs Blvd about a mile north of the Shops at Wiregrass and across from the upscale community of Seven Oaks. Expected to be completed in 2 years, this 200,000 square foot facility will open with 80 beds and create between 300-400 jobs.

  The Youth Choir from Victorious Life Church did there very best to get everyone into the Holiday Spirit at the Annual Holiday Festival at the Grove at Wesley Chapel.

If there is a problem to solve, he puts his resources towards a solution.“ said West.   Vicki Hamilton presents Kevin Wright of Support the Troops the Award for Civic Organization of the Year on behalf of founder Robert Williams.   Greg Lenners, General Manager at Shops if Wiregrass receives the Business Leader of the Year from Dr. Randy Stovall at the Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce 2010 Awards Banquet.   Ron Ierna and Charlene Rogers Ierna owners of Ierna's Heating & Cooling, Gold sponsors of the Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce 2010 Awards Banquet left nothing on the mat when getting all decked out for this years 80’s themed, totally awesome event.   Wesley Chapel Chamber President Laura Miller is very excited to receive the new print directory for the Greater Wesley Chamber of Commerce from Chris Drews of The Community News at Friday nights Annual Awards Banquet. “We are very proud of this publication, 7500 copies need to be on the streets as quickly as possible” said Miller. A check for about $4,500, the Chamber’s share of the advertiser revenue from the Directory will be donated.

Our Fish of Choice is the Tilapia (St. Peter's Fish), one of the most popular fish around the world today. It grows very fast on low protein food, reproduces easily, and is resistance to disease and shock that far exceeds that of most food fish. In addition, tilapia is a very tasty  fish that is high in nutrients and has also shown to be very resistant to contaminants, such as mercury poisoning which is found in many other fish today.
