Middle Division students at Academy at the Lakes at the invitation of Crystal Springs Preserve have been asked to participate in the 2006 National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) Thanksgiving Turkey Release at Two Rivers Ranch in Thonotosassa. For the past two years, as part of their quarterly community service program, Academy at the Lakes middle division students have worked at Crystal Springs Preserve (CSP) cleaning up the environment. They rake, pull weeds, etc. In recognition of their community service involvement and to further their enrichment in science, CSP has selected Academy at the Lakes to participate in the NWTF Turkey Release.
