GFWC Lutz-Land O'Lakes Woman's Club Annual Flea Market at the Old Lutz School
GFWC Lutz-Land O’Lakes Woman’s Club help their Annual Flea Market at the Old Lutz School. In preparation the Lutz-Land O’Lakes Woman’s Club enjoyed a riotous Haute Couture AND Low Couture Flea Market Fashion Show leading to their upcoming Annual Flea Market at the Old Lutz School. All fashions being showcased were pulled from donated items available in their Chic Boutique, ranging from elegant and sophisticated to zany. Two members won most outrageous honors for wearing a single pair of pants and a shirt. The ladies have spent 6 weeks accumulating and preparing a great deal of donated treasures including antiques, collectibles, clothing, books, tools, sports, furniture, kids’ items, baby equipment, décor and seasonal. All proceeds will benefit local charities and organizations as well as scholarships.

Patricia Jones began the CPA practice in Pasco County in 1986. She graduated from College Misericordia with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and was licensed in the State of Florida as a Certified Public Accountant in 1984. She has over 35 years of accounting experience, which includes taxation, audit, estate planning and consulting.
Traci Malik joined Jones & Company CPAs in 2002 and has been in the public accounting field since 2000. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Masters of Accountancy degree from The University of South Florida. She became a CPA in 2004 and a partner in the firm in 2010.

The Guv'na took some time to check out the Acting Studio ( 122 Flagship Drive) in Lutz currently showing "Return to the Forbidden Planet". This delightful performance is a space romp through some of your favorite genres…everything from Star Trek to classic 50's and 60's music to Shakespeare! Performances are January 31st through March 16th. Fridays and Saturdays @ 8, Saturdays at 2 and Sundays at 2 and 6:) Tickets are $12 and the event is family-friendly. What a great way to support young adults doing something positive in our community and in a local venue!! The Acting Studio is owned by Daniel and Victoria Watson. Kudos to all!

Centennial Celebration of Lutz Chili Cook Off and Classic Car Show
The Centennial Celebration of the Lutz Centennial Chili Cook Off and Classic Car Show was a great success. The Nov. 2 event took place at the Lutz Train Depot on U.S. 41 and feature appearances by many local celebrities like the Tampa Tribune’s Steve Otto, who also served as a judge and 970 WFLA’s Jack Harris was the emcee for the day.
Lonesome Hobos and the Fritzy Bros. One Man Circus. Game Time Revolution entertained the crowd who dined on chili and cakes. Those with hot rides were proudly displaying their automobiles to the delight of the crowd featuring classic cars, exotics and motorcycles.
