Coach Benedetto got a fitting tribute on October 19, 2012 when the house he built on the eve of the 6th anniversary of the comeback for the ages, Benedetto's coaches and players took it on themselves once more, and the old coach may have to reorder his list of dangdest things. Friday night, they named the stadium after him. Says Will Weatherford, a former Gators linebacker and the incoming Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives, "I can't think of a better way to honor Coach Benedetto than to rename the stadium that was his house."
