Pasco Requires Face Masks to Help Reduce Spread of COVID-19 after seeing a sharp increase in the number of cases in our younger population

Pasco County is seeing a sharp increase in the number of COVID-19 cases, including an increase in our younger population. In an effort to prevent the spread of the virus, Pasco County Administrator Dan Biles has issued an executive order requiring everyone in Pasco County to use face coverings while indoors at a public business or county government facility, effective immediately. Exceptions to the order include children under the age of two and anyone with an existing health condition that would be complicated by wearing a mask. Pasco County Code Enforcement will begin enforcing this order Thursday, June 25, 2020, at 5 p.m., focusing first on education.

Covid-19 Spikes in Pasco County from 3 per day to 16 and Hillsborough County from 16 per day to 76 to start May!

COVID-19 average new cases a day (by week) spikes in Pasco Daily average 3.3 New Cases but on May 1, 2020 was 20. Hillsborough Daily average 16 New Cases but on May 1, 2020 was 76. Looks like it was exclusive to Tampa and Pasco: Florida Daily average 733 New Cases and on May 1, 2020 was 721. Why and How did they get it (how can we avoid it). We will be asking questions and hopefully have some answers later this week.
