PDF VersionIt was a beautiful day to ride and come out and honor our soldiers to thank them as our Country is "THE LAND OF THE FREE" said Eric Johnson of Wesley Chapel Toyota – Honda and organizer of the Wesley Chapel Toyota - Honda Benefit Poker Run for Support The Troops.
“My heart is overwhelmed! Helping put together the Benefit Poker Run for Support The Troops, has put me in the path of some many young American Soldiers. Just today, here in Wesley Chapel randomly in different places, we met two young Purple Hearts Veterans, under 30yrs old!!! One of them was in a wheel chair, paralyzed from the waist down, the other one has PSD and have to live with pain everyday of his life, both of them hit by IED's. I just can't stop thinking and getting emotional about all these heroes, that have been injured and even lost their life so you and I and this Great country can live in freedom! †said a participant.
“Thank you Wesley Chapel Toyota/Honda on a great ride. It was very well organized. What you do for troops is very much appreciated. Eric your enthusiasm showed through today well done!†said another participant.
Those that know how it feels when to share the road with a buddy on a run, experienced that same feeling for the hundred plus other bikers who have the same passion for the road as they do and for our troops. And it was a great party at Quail Hollow after the ride. Special thanks to Dawn and Patrick with Wesley Chapel Florist for donating the beautiful flower arrangement for the dedication to fallen soldiers during our opening ceremony.
