Over 650 people attended the Pasco Economic Development Council 26th Annual Awards Appreciation Banquet and 57 companies participating in the trade show. Everyone had a great time at the event hosted at the Saddlebrook Golf & Country Club. The Pasco County Economic Development Council gave out the following awards to:
• Manufacturing Industry of the Year — smaller businesses: Pasco Iron & Metal of Land O'Lakes
• Manufacturing Industry of the Year — larger businesses: Pall Aeropower Corp. of New Port Richey
• Service/Distribution Industry of the Year — smaller businesses: Copperstone Executive Suites & Business Center of Land O'Lakes
• Service/Distribution Industry of the Year — larger businesses: R. J. Kielty Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Inc. of Hudson
• Special Recognition Award: Hyundai of New Port Richey
• Special Contribution Award: Medical Center of Trinity
• Technology Award: Artix Entertainment LLC of Odessa
