Academy at the Lakes extended its breakout season after defeating the Winter Haven All Saints’ Academy 69 to 61, largely do from freshman Ethan Haslam who scored a season high 40 points. After the game Tom Haslam said “I heard that they don’t give up, but I didn’t think it’d be like that,” “We made a couple of mistakes and they made some baskets, it’s never pretty” he said. The All Saints leading scorer Reggie Evans put up 25 but to no avail. The wildcats are 17-9 this year.
