Marijuana Legalization and Regulation Awareness Symposium at Pasco Hernando State College
Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC) hosted a Marijuana Legalization and Regulation Awareness Symposium with guest panelists, Charles Spinner of Spinner Law Firm, Victor Walker of Trulieve a Marijuana Dispensary, and Dr. Keith Stolte of Stolte Eye Center.
The panel discussed Florida’s approved amendment 2, a measure legalizing the medical use of cannabis for individuals with specific debilitating diseases or other conditions as determined by a licensed state physician. The in depth discuss focused on issues related to: medical marijuana prescription, policies regarding medical marijuana dispensaries, and the legal impact of this new amendment.
The event will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the Porter Campus at Wiregrass Ranch in Wesley Chapel, 2727 Mansfield Blvd. from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Conference Center, Building B, Room 303.
This event was part of PHSC’s ongoing Community Awareness Series that aims to increase public awareness of resources available to community members.
