The Rotary Club of Wesley Chapel held their 2nd Annual Foundation Dinner on Thursday, May 11, 2017, and was held from 5:30 pm to 6:30pm, located at Tampa Bay Golf & Country Club, 10641 Old Tampa Bay Dr, San Antonio, FL 33576.

The Rotary Members received certificates of appreciation and a special Paul Harris Award was presented to one of four nominees. Cam Caudle, Carla Haberland, Jay Rosario and Valerie Rudman were the nominees. The winner was: Carla Haberland. Carla works tirelessly all week as director of the Helping Hands Food Pantry. A ministry of Atonement Lutheran Church in Wesley Chapel. Congratulations Carla!

The Paul Harris Fellowship recognition was created in memory of the Rotary Club’s founder as a way to show appreciation for contributions to the Foundation ‘s charitable and educational program. Paul Harris Fellows are advocates of the Foundation’s goals of world peace and international understanding. The Fellowship salutes a Rotarian or a member of the community for exceptional service and who at the same time demonstrates the belief in the value of the Foundation ’s humanitarian and educational programs in helping to save and change lives around the world.
