Central Pasco and Trinity Odessa Chambers Explore Merger

The Central Pasco Chamber of Commerce and The Trinity Odessa Chamber of Commerce have entered into negotiations to explore a proposed merger to strengthen the Chamber movement in the Central Pasco/ Northern Hillsborough /Trinity/Odessa areas. An exploratory committee has been appointed consisting of leaders of both chambers to explore the logistics and benefits of a merger, and are now conducting a due diligence review to ensure a merger would benefit both organizations and our members.
“The potential merger of The Central Pasco Chamber and The Trinity Odessa Chamber would enable both organizations to pool their resources to better serve the needs of businesses throughout the Central Pasco/Trinity Odessa areas, by extending existing services and developing new services for the benefit of all members,†said Elayne Bassinger, President of The Central Pasco Chamber.
“The strengths of each organization compliment the other and it is believed that one combined organization will be stronger, more effective and more efficient,†said Todd Pillars, Chairman of The Trinity Odessa Chamber of Commerce.
After the task force completes its review over the summer; and if the recommendation is to merge, the proposed merger will be sent to both chamber’s board of directors for approval.
