The annual awards and installation rotary banquet, 1920’s speakeasy theme took place on Thursday night June 25, 2015 at Tampa Palms Golf and Country Club (5811 Tampa Palms Blvd, Tampa, FL 33647. Cocktails were at 6:00pm, and the dinner and program was at 7:00pm. It was a 1920’s speakeasy theme, and they even had a jailhouse with a sheriff (Don McBath), to lock up the bad guys that got busted at the speakeasy! Special thanks to Ierna’s Heating & Cooling for sponsoring the event and providing an amazing photo booth. Kelly Mothershead was the outgoing president of the Rotary Club of Wesley Chapel, turning over presidency for 2015 - 2016 to Erin Meyer. Sabrina Di Roma won Rotarian of the year for the club. Ryan Luzon won rookie of the year. Robyn Liska won the Leadership award, Rebecca Smith won the president’s award. John Jay Anglada won the Service above Self award. The Rotary Club of Wesley Chapel also had 10 Service Award winners as well from the 100 member club. The district governor-elect (Mike Chapman), performed the installation of officers.
